This sumptuous  hand made cushion features three strips of traditional Ghanaian Kente in the four colours of the Ghanaian flag; red, yellow, green and black. Red for the blood spilt during the struggle for independence; Yellow for Ghanaian gold; Green for the lush fertile land and Black celebrating Ghana as the first black African country to regain its independence.
This beautiful, durable handwoven Kente fabric is made in Ghana by Bob Dennis Ahiagble and his weavers, using traditional materials and techniques.
The cushion back and front base fabric is 100% cotton, high quality 10oz black denim. The back zip is concealed behind a generous overlap.
